About CheatDetector
CheatDetector is a free desktop tool designed specifically for CS 1.6 server administrators. It scans a player's system for active, hidden, or deleted cheats using 20+ independent detection checks.
Unlike server-side anti-cheats that only monitor network traffic, CheatDetector runs directly on the player's machine, giving it access to system-level information that remote tools cannot reach. Each scan produces a verified report that admins can review online.
The scanner is a single portable executable — no installation required. It supports all popular CS 1.6 builds including vanilla Steam, NextClient, and GSClient. Reports are cryptographically signed to prevent tampering, and player privacy is respected: no personal files are accessed.
How It Works
